Functional Medicine and Fertility Doula
Drawing from a background in Psychology and a passion for holistic medicine, Megan believes the most powerful form of healing is achieved by addressing the person on every level- mind, body and spirit. She received her BA in Psychology from UCSB and is a published co-author of scientific research in the field of Social Psychology and Bio-Psychology. She graduated summa cum Laude from Emperor’s College of Oriental Medicine and received advanced training in Gynecology and Internal Medicine at the Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. She is a fellow of the American Board of Acupuncture and Reproductive Medicine, and has helped hundreds of individuals and couples to grow their families. She is a passionate member of the Orange County birth community and works closely with doulas, midwives, and OBGyns to provide integrative prenatal and postpartum care. She completed training through the Kalish Institute of Functional Medicine and is currently in her second year of Advanced Clinical Training in Functional Medicine. She naturally reversed her own infertility due to PCOS, and as a result has two children who are her pride and joy. She loves spending time in nature with her family, and is passionate about traveling and experiencing different cultures. She has been a medical volunteer through Alliance Abroad, Floating Doctors, and the One World Health Project, which Megan co-founded in 2009.
